2020 Q3 Recap: $205 Donated to Animals in Need
We are happy to report that after an extremely quiet Q2, we were able to donate $205 to animal rescues and shelters in Q3!
Here is a breakdown of our donations as designated by our top sitters:
- $105 to sponsor Dezmon and Sparrow at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (as designated by Jeff)
- $60 to The Milo Foundation (in honor of our sitter Alona)
- $20 to Animal Ark (on behalf of our sitter Chuck)
- $20 to Secondhand Hounds (on behalf of our client Jenny)
Like many businesses, we’ve been hit hard by COVID-19. With fewer people traveling and more people working from home, the need for pet care has declined. This has substantially reduced our bookings and, consequently, our ability to give back.
In the interim, our team is hard at work supporting animal welfare organizations in other ways. We are assisting with transfers, program development, and grant writing for a few rescues until we are able to ramp up our donations again.
